FOCI Distribution, part of FOCI Group (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. What we collect

  • Contact and account details: name, email, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, company name and VAT number (if supplied).
  • Order details: products purchased, order history, delivery and collection details.
  • Payment status: payments are processed by our payment providers (Yoco and Ozow). We do not store your full card or bank login details.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, and cookies needed to run the shop (cart, login, security), plus analytics cookies where you allow them.

3. Why we use it

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, returns and warranty claims.
  • To manage your account and respond to your questions.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
  • To send marketing (such as our newsletter) only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with: payment providers, courier companies, our IT and hosting providers, supplier partners who fulfil or support your order, and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information. Some providers may store data outside South Africa; where this happens we make sure adequate protection is in place as POPIA requires.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records are kept for at least 5 years).

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, or withdraw consent for marketing. Contact us on 012 943 6048. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

8. Cookies

Essential cookies keep your cart and login working. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the shop may not work.
